The Lúčina Slovak Folklore Ensemble
The Lúčina Slovak Folklore Ensemble of Cleveland, Ohio was initiated in August of 1981. Lúčina has performed in over 275 programs for various groups including international festivals, church functions, Slovak-American events, charitable events, weddings, and private parties. In November of 1996, Lúčina held its first Slovak Tri-Concert. The Tri-Concert helps to showcase other Slovak Ensembles in the United States and Canada while promoting cooperation and friendship with other groups. The ensemble aims to educate its community about Slovak culture through dance productions and ensemble participation.
