The Cleveland Jazz Orchestra is a 16-member professional big band that features some of the best jazz musicians in Northeast Ohio. For nearly 25 years the CJO has been dedicated to promoting big band jazz, in its historical and contemporary forms, through concerts with gifted jazz musicians, arrangers, composers and educators. The CJO presents an annual concert series each year, works with high school jazz students in hands-on clinics and is frequently contracted to perform at community music festivals and other events during the year.

Cleveland Jazz Orchestra is a member of Cleveland Arts Education Consortium (CAEC).
