Cleveland City Dance
Our mission at Cleveland City Dance is to instill an appreciation and love for the art of dance through training and education in an environment that encourages students to excel at an individual pace, building self-esteem to reach their full potential. Cleveland City Dance offers classes in ballet, jazz, Graham modern, tap, hip-hop, flamenco, Middle Eastern, Pilates, and yoga. Students in ballet levels 2-5 who choose to take additional classes in ballet, jazz, and modern as well as to make time to rehearse choreography throughout the year are eligible for The Cleveland City Dance Company, directed by Courtney Laves-Mearini and Mark Otloski. Self-disciplined, energetic, enthusiastic, and focused, these company dancers, divided into the Junior Company (levels 2 & 3) and Senior Company (Levels 4 & 5), uniquely serve as dance arts ambassadors when they perform at festivals, local schools, workshops and fundraisers.
